Discover timeless elegance: A super pair of dark tan leather club chairs from Central France, C.1930. Classically Art Deco in style and also referred to as 'cinema chairs' because they resemble those from early movie theatres. Sympathetically restored to retain originality and preserve their characterful wear and patina. All leather has been treated to re-nourish and waxed to protect. All blemishes, minor tears and cracks have been well patched and glued to strengthen and prevent further damage. The main area of repair being to the front right seat corner of both chairs. Sturdy frames, original riveted backs and good original springs. Replacement cushions in recent years with new black faux suede removable covers.
